Once you're finished taking a shower, you can wipe down the tub and it saves time when doing your full bathroom cleaning.

Dating Herbs

I have a drawer full of bottled herbs. Some are quite old, and I don't feel they're still safe to eat. I decided I'd date the top of each bottle/can with a marker with the date I purchased it. I no longer have to guess at how old the product is.

Shop smart online

If you like shopping on line, use websites that offer points for free stuff. To make it much easier to locate the correct bottle of sauce, salad dressing, etc. quickly, I write the name on the lid when I open a new item. Now I can tell the Catalina dressing from the French with ease. My smaller children, who can see that shelf more easily, still use these top labels instead of the front labels to locate what they need.
(Use permanent marker, when the lid is completely dry, for the best results.)

Prevent stains

When away from home carry the small travel size of baby wipes. if you get something on your clothes that may stain, clean it right away with a baby wipe. prevents stains

EASY PEEL

When preparing sweet potatoes for holidays, remember to boil your sweet potatoes for 15 minutes. Just pick up a few artificial silk bouquets of geraniums or sunflowers or ferns on sale. Pull the dried and dead flowers off and replace with artificial silk flowers in the pots or hanging baskets. From across the street, no one will know and it will look much better than the dying plants.

Better Pie Crust

Take an aluminum "throw away" pie pan and cut the center out, leaving just the outer rim. Place the rim upside down on top of a pie as it bakes to avoid overbrowning the outer edge of the crust.

Smart Shopping

Save gas and stress by having all of your coupons and discounts with you at all times.
