Iron-free Wrinkle Relief

When traveling without an iron, use a mister to spray out wrinkles. Spray clothes, lightly smooth fold lines out with your hand, and hang overnight. By morning, your clothes will be dry and wrinkle-free. This method also works wonders for the bubbles that hangers leave in the shoulders of sweaters!

Saving Money/Leftovers

If you have a baby, take your left over vegetables, potatoes, gravy or anything you had for dinner and put it your blender; pulse and then freeze in ice cube trays. A lot cheaper than baby food. One ice cube is enough for a baby that is just starting out on food. You can increase the amount as they get older and won't have to puree it as much.

Keeping Lettuce Fresh

Whatever kind of lettuce you purchase: iceberg, romaine, red or green leaf, when you get it home immediately rip off large leaves and submerge in a large bowl of ice water for about 20 minutes. Remove lettuce and let dry on SCOTT® Towels for about 15 minutes. Here's the helpful tip: Lay your roll of SCOTT® Towels on the counter and start to roll it out about 12 inches or so; lay some lettuce leaves on the paper towels, fold paper towel over the top of the leaves and add another layer of lettuce. Continue until done. Put wrapped leaves in a plastic bag and refrigerate!
