Lunchbox Odor Eater

To remove odors from lunchboxes, plastic containers, car trunks, and more, soak a slice of white bread in white vinegar. Place the bread on a saucer and leave overnight. The odor will be gone by morning.

Affordable pest control

Mix 2 parts boric acid with one part concentrated milk to form several small balls and place around the edges of a room. Those crawling pests will eat them and die. For less than $3, you can get rid your home of ants and other pests for the year.

Easy Ice Pack

For an ice pack that will conform to any shape, mix rubbing alcohol and water together in a tight-closing quart-size freezer bag and freeze. The combination will not freeze solid and can be used instead of expensive store-bought ice packs.

To keep your yard and flower beds free of weeds, sprinkle them with table salt. Also, if you have a tree or heavy bush that needs to come down, but do not want to cut it at this time, nail copper nails in the trunk.

Coffee Filter Potting
