Microwave quick clean

Wet a Scott paper towel, place in microwave and microwave for 30 seconds. The steam will loosen any baked on spills and the warm Scott towel will wipe the interior of the microwave clean

quick tip for cleaning silverware.

I have found that dipping my silverware into a bowl of tomato juice cleans off the tarnish in a hurry. I discovered this hint quite by accident, years ago while canning tomatoes and tomato juice. Joann, Delphi, In.

Microwave

To clean your microwave, put a bowl of hot water with lemon juice in it, let the water come to a boil then just wipe it out with a sponge dipped in white vinegar. This removes all the splatters and grease fast without the need to buy microwave cleaners.

Laundry line in bathroom

A loop of laundry line can be run from the shower nozzle to back towel rack for convenient drying of towels, bathing suits or lingerie...it can be disguised by pulling the shower curtain and all is hidden!

Avoiding watery eyes

To prevent eyes from watering when peeling, cutting or chopping onions, submerge the onions in water while you work on them (i.e., keep cut them submerged in a bowl of water, etc.). This really does work and keeps the smell off your hands, too!
