Cleaning Up After Kitty

With a cat in the house, I like to keep the litter box clean. I keep an empty tissue box stuffed with plastic bags and leave it in the bathroom next to her litter box. Between the times I empty the box, I use bags for quick clean ups to keep it fresh for her. Avoids odors!

Save Food & Save Money

Don't waste food- moisten a paper towel and wrap it loosely around a leftover biscuit, roll, etc. Microwave about 15 seconds, and it comes out steaming hot and fresh tasting! This works wonders on most baked goods.

Baby

Scott tissue is great for babies bottoms. Wash cloths are too rough. With the extra strength, it does the job, and keeps the baby fresh and happy.

Keeping Lettuce Fresh

When you get a new head of lettuce, take it out of the wrapper & put it in a stainless steel bowl. I put a SCOTT Towel folded up in the bottom to stabilize it. Cover the bowl in plastic cling wrap and put it in the back of the refrigerator. It will stay fresh until the whole head is used up. My grandfather taught me this trick & it has saved me many wasted heads of lettuce. Only wash & use what you want when you need it & then put the head back in the bowl with the cling wrap. I've had heads of lettuce last a month this way.

Keep Unused Paint Fresh

When resealing a paint can, place a thin shower cap over the top of can, then seal with the lid. The plastic allows proper resealing, yet keeps dried particles that form on the lid from falling into the paint when you next use it. The paint stays fresh and clean indefinitely.
