Quick clean up!!

While cleaning up dinner, instead of dirtying up tupperware or throw-away containers to store left-overs, just put your left-overs in a ziplock bag and put it in the fridge!! It not only saves time, and space, it saves a few dishes to wash!! Talk about a win, win situation. I have done this for years!!

Easy Organizing - Around the House

Keep Knives Sharp

To keep your cutlery sharp put the sharpener in a drawer or cabinet near the cuterly block. That way it is handy to run a knife through the sharpener before each use so your knives are always sharp and ready for use.

Save your cell phone

I keep my cell in it's own little pocket in my purse so it doesn't get scratched up & I add one of those little moisture packets in the pocket with it(the ones that are in purses when you buy them). I'm in S. FL and it gets very humid which is bad for cell batteries, so the packet keeps it dry!!

Vanilla Coffee

Buy vanilla flavored cappuccino power at the grocery store and add it to regular coffee and you have vanilla flavor coffee. You could make cold vanilla flavor coffee also.

Soap Spill - By Accident

I was refilling my antibacterial hand soap when I dropped the bottle on my counter. Instead of wiping and throwing away the excess, I took a wet dish cloth and used it to clean my kitchen counter. I continued on and did all of my cabinets and appliances. I wiped everything dry with SCOTT® Towels. It left my kitchen clean and fresh smelling.

Soda Pop

To stop a head from forming in your glass when pouring a glass of pop with ice ...rinse the ice first and no more head at the top of your glass.

Dollars & Sense - Reuse / Recycle

Recycle water

Don't throw the water away that you boil your eggs in. Let it cool and give it to your house plants. The nourishing water with nutrients from the egg shells gives your plants a good feeding. Even better, crush up the eggshells and let sit in the water for a while before giving it to the plants. They will thrive.

Lunch Box Helper

When making sandwiches for the lunch box, lay out a SCOTT® Towel, fix the sandwich on it, fold it nicely and pick up and insert it in plastic bag or plastic container - it makes it much easier to slip it into the bag or container and then it is right there to use as your napkin!
