How to remove blood

I was in the ER due to cutting the tip of my finger with a knife and the wash rag I had wrapped around my finger was totally soaked with blood. I told my husband to throw it away, and the doctor spoke up and said, "Just take it home and soak it in a sink with peroxide!" So we did, and the blood disappeared right before our eyes! Just like a science experiment! We've used the tip several times since then - worked! Give it a try; but I hope you don't cut yourself bad!

Safety Pin Socks Together

Keep your clean socks pinned together with a safety pin. When you wash them, the socks never get separated. Easy to fold and put away because sock is already matched. No more lost socks and less time putting away aundry.

Dog Menses

Years ago I would get a bucket and a mop out twice a day when our dogs were menustrating. Now I just use a wipe a couple of times a day and the floor stays clean.

Clothes on the Go...

After you get the clothes out of the dryer, hang your entire outfit together. This way all you have to do is grab one hanger and you are ready to go!

Waste Not, Want Not

Don't throw out that used fabric softner sheet. Use it to clean the lint trap of your dryer. It works great! (Also works great on small vac reusable filters).

Straight socks

I hang my line-to-dry socks on a multi hanger; mine will hold 8 pairs. So, I pick out 8 from the laundry basket by the cuff end and slap the bundle against my legs once or twice. This straightens out all socks and they're ready to hang. Also when dry I try to match up pairs as I remove them so they are ready to put away.

Clothesline space saver

I line dry as much as possible. I also use the hangers that will hold 16 or more items as they take up very little space. This is not only for socks but bras and panties, anything small. All will dry unwrinkled. If by chance an item on line wrinkles and needs an iron, try throwing it in the dryer for a few minutes with a slightly damp washcloth.

SCOTT® Towels In The Bathroom

I've put one roll of SCOTT® Towel in the bathroom for guests to use instead of hand towels.
