Easy Organizing - Holiday Ideas

Duplicate Stockings

When you are purchasing Christmas stockings buy 2 so you can hide one set and fill it as you go. It will be much easier to "trade off" a full stocking in the wee hours instead of sorting gifts and filling each one and it won't be too empty or overflowing. Put the empty one you remove in your hiding place until the next year

Time Savers - During the Holiday

Use paper clips for ornament hooks

When you run out or loose ornament hooks or hangers, use a paper clip. Open the paper clip up, and hook one end to the ornament and the other to the tree branch. Saves running to the busy stores during the holiday season.

Christmas shopping

I take an empty tissue box and put Christmas shopping receipts in it. This keeps all my receipts in one place, and if the box falls, everything stays inside. If something has to be returned, I have the receipt.
