Dog Menses

Years ago I would get a bucket and a mop out twice a day when our dogs were menustrating. Now I just use a wipe a couple of times a day and the floor stays clean.

Easy Deviled Eggs

For easy deviled eggs, put the cooked egg yolks in a zip-top bag. Seal and mash the eggs until they are broken up. Add the remaining ingredients, reseal and mix it thoroughly with your fingers. Then, cut the tip of the bag and squeeze the yolk mixture into the egg white. Just throw the bag away when you're finished for easy clean-up.

Salvage used paint brushes

To remove that paint from crusty paint brushes & save $'s--put at least 1/2 cup of lemon juice in pot, bring to boil, put brushes in & let sit for 15 minutes--the paint will dissolve & you have good brushes again.

Removing wallpaper

To remove wallpaper quickly and inexpensively, use liquid fabric softener. Pour equal amounts of fabric softener and water into a spray bottle. Spray onto wallpaper, leave for 15 minutes, and it comes right off!

Hard Water Stains

To remove that plaque-like ring in your toilet bowl, use a pumice stone! Make sure to wet the pumice stone before attacking the ring, or else you might scratch the porcelain.
