Cleaning Up Excess Wax

I am a soy candle maker, and I use SCOTT® Towels every day. After pouring candles, I place my glass measuring cup in the microwave and run it for less than 30 seconds. Then I take a SCOTT Towel and wipe out the container. Any excess wax is removed and the glass container can be washed in warm soapy water. There's no worry of getting the sink plumbing plugged with wax.

Perfect hard boiled eggs

Place a teaspoon of vinegar in cooking water while boiling. This will keep the egg white inside the shell if the egg shell should crack.

Decorating Cents

When you have found a calendar with pictures that you love, save the calendar and buy a cheap replacement to put over the monthly portion. Your favorite pictures can last for years! My new calendar was $.49 this year!

Smelly garbage disposal

Fill disposal to top with ice. Add good amount dish soap to ice. Turn water on little more than trickle and turn on disposal. There will be a slushy soapy foam coming up. Keep on until foam disappears. Your disposal will be fresh & clean.

Oily Hair?
