Facial Tissue Refill

To save money on facial tissue, I refill a long tissue box with a roll of SCOTT® Extra-soft Toilet Tissue, placed on its side. I just pull the first sheet through the hole. It looks just like facial tissue and it's a thick enough substitute. This way I never run out of facial tissue.

Permanent Ink Removal

To remove permanent marker ink from DVDs or CDs, spray a touch of hairspray and wipe immediately with a lint-free cloth. Finish clean up with rubbing alcohol.

Microwaving Potato

To keep your potato moist, pierce the potato a couple of times with a fork and place it in a brown lunch sack. Close the top and microwave. It will come out moist and tasty.
