soap saver

Don't throw away those little slivers of bath soap. Dampen the sliver and press into the new bar. The next time you use the bar of soap you will be proud of the saving$ when you keep track of how long the sliver really lasts!

Quick Duster

After using a dryer sheet to dry your clothes, use the sheet to dust around the house. It doesn't scratch your furniture, and the dust sticks right on the sheet, so you don't need to worry about any dust flying around.

Lemon Juice Cleaner

Lemon juice is a great substiute to use in the washing machine for removing stains. A cup of 100% lemon juice added to the wash load should be sufficient.

When cooking for two, the freezer is your best friend. Cut the 1-pound pack of bacon into 3 portions and freeze it to use in soups or with potatoes. The same goes for any sauce or item you can buy in the "family size."

Save Gas – Keep It Fuller

Don't let the gas get too low. Otherwise it works as a vacuum. The more space in the tank, the more it sucks up gas. You'll notice a difference in gas mileage, even if you have to fill up a quarter of a tank!
