SCOTT® Towels in the Kitchen

When storing lettuce, I fold a couple of SCOTT® Towels under the lettuce. It absorbes the water and keeps the lettuce crisp.

Get Rid of Ants for Good

Put small piles of cornmeal where you see ants. They eat it, take it "home," and can't digest it, so it kills them. It may take a week or so, but it works -- and you don't have the worry about pets or small children being harmed!

Gloves and shower door

I use an old shower glove to wash the inside of the shower after my shower. Do one time a week and your door will shine.

Easy Organizing

Bill Paying Reminder

Keep a calendar in the kitchen. In order to remember to pay my bills on time I always put the due dates and amounts on the calendar when I receive my bills. This way I don't forget to pay them. Also after they are paid, I mark them paid.

Burned on food

Everyone has experienced that burned on food in a saucepan or frying pan. As soon as you take the food from the pan, fill it with water and part vinegar. Bring to a boil, wash and rinse and it sparkles just like new!

Great Window Cleaner

Try filling your empty spray bottle with automobile window wash. It is cheaper than name brand window washers and does a better job.

Smell

My son's sports equiptment smell is sometimes overwelming. I use wintergreen alcohol. Works great on the smell and is also a great disinfectant. Pour into a spray bottle and use. I keep a spray bottle also near the sneakers!
