Carrying your prescriptions abroad

You must have your medicines identifiable in traveling. Save one set of old prescription bottles and fill with amount of medications you will need to take while traveling. No need to carry full bottles of pills.

Warming up Food

The best way to warm up rice or pasta in the microwave is to take a moist paper towel and use it to cover the food. It locks the moisture in as it heats, which then softens your food instead of drying it out.

Crisp and Clean

To iron linen and have that crisp look, dampen the linen outfit, place it in the refrigerator or freezer for at least five minutes, then iron. Your linen outfits will iron more easily. Use starch to get that crisp look.

Create a "fun kit" for traveling with the kids. Shower Curtain Pull

When discarding old Venetian blinds, I take the plastic openers (the long plastic sticks) and attach them to my shower curtains. This gives the family handles to pull the curtains open and closed and keeps them from ripping off the hooks. The shower curtains last much longer!
