Saving Toilet Paper

My family was consuming toilet paper in mass quantities. I got rid of the toilet paper roller and set the toilet paper on a shelf. Because they have to unroll the paper by themselves instead of letting a roller go without stopping, they are using less.

Neat & Clean - Pets

Time Saver

I have indoor cats and keep SCOTT® Towels in my bathroom so it's handy when someone gets rid of a fur ball, etc in the bedroom end of the house. Saves time and steps for me.

Easy Organizing - Around the House

Hangers

Most organizing books suggest that you use a different color hanger for each family member. I found that to be more of a hassle, so I got rid of all colored hangers and went to white hangers for all around the house. Not only do I not have to worry about which hanger color to choose for which person, my closets now all look neater.

Time Savers - Daily Routines

Dishwasher Soap Magic

I don't like scrubbing pots and pans, etc., so I use very hot water and add a bit of dishwasher detergent. Then I let it sit until the water is cold and what was once stuck, easily rinses out.

Everyday Sense - Simple Fixes

Quick Bathroom Cleanup!

I bought two paper towel holders (the upright kind) because they were decorative and I didn't have a hand towel hanger close to the sink. They are great for quick hand wipes, sink and mirror clean-ups and even handy for makeup touch-ups. They also do a fast clean-up of the floors. SCOTT® is there whenever you need it!

Looking Younger!!

Do you have bags under your eyes and puffiness above your eye lids? Give this a try, and I guarantee it will make you look younger. I use Preparation H ointment or cream (the cream seems to work better for me) under my eyes and under my eyebrows. I rub it in as much as possible, being careful not to get any in my eyes, and let it sit for a while. When you wipe it off, you will see the difference. The bags shrink and the puffiness goes down, and it takes very little to accomplish that younger look. I know it works for me!!

Getting Cats to Drink Enough Water

I have two indoor cats and found that they will drink much more water now that I got them a water fountain. Cats like running water. The fountain plugs in and keeps the water circulating through a filter. It's much better for your pet.

Cleaning Drapes and Curtains

Two or three times a year I remove all my drapes and curtains, and in small batches, place them in the dryer with a DAMPENED dryer fabric sheet. I run the dryer about 10 minutes and all the dust is removed and the drapes smell clean and fresh. It saves a fortune on dry cleaning!
