How to remove blood

I was in the ER due to cutting the tip of my finger with a knife and the wash rag I had wrapped around my finger was totally soaked with blood. I told my husband to throw it away, and the doctor spoke up and said, "Just take it home and soak it in a sink with peroxide!" So we did, and the blood disappeared right before our eyes! Just like a science experiment! We've used the tip several times since then - worked! Give it a try; but I hope you don't cut yourself bad!

Dryer Lint

If you save the lint out of your dryer you can use it to clean up oil spills in the garage. It's cheap, works great, and you're gonna throw it away anyways. It even gets all the oil residue so none is left behind.

Box it on Out

When you have to clean your house, use two Boxes, 1 for Keeps, 1 for Donation and 1 for Trash. All you have to do is put boxes either on the curb or in the car to take to the donation station. Go through the Keep box and put the stuff in its proper place. It helps to keep yourself organized.

Student Planner

With 3 children, 2 in high school and 1 in elementary school our schedules are crazy. Each school year I buy a student planner, one with a month view and one with a weekly view. Each child has a different color pen that I write with to determine each child’s activity so that I can quickly recognize who is where and when. On the weekly view I write my to-do list and check it every day. If a task is not completed today then I highlight it so that I know it wasn't completed but still needed to be done. By using the Student Planner it coordinates with the school year.
