Grocery bag holder

I keep two small rectangle trahs cans on the opposite side of my garage steps...I put plastic bags in one and brown paper bags in the other...They can be used for garden projects, recycling, yard waste or just for stuffing fall boots...Anytime I reach for one they are there... I place the tall recyle yard waste bags down the side of the brown paper trash can and they are ready in a snap!

Keep the Cheese

I like to buy my cheeses in blocks and grate it myself. Sometimes the containers I used were wet on the inside of the lid and therefore getting my cheese wet & resulting in molding before it's time. I fold a Scott Towel and lay it in the container and it keeps it from from the moisture so my cheese last so much longer! I love your towels.

Travel Mess-Free

Save the plastic zippered container that your sheet sets came in. You can use them for when you travel to put toothpaste, shampoo, - all your toiletries. That way if they spill, they don't ruin everything else you have in your suitcase.

Emptying a Bagless Vaccuum

When I need to empty my bagless vaccuum canister into a garbage can, I don't want the dust to go flying around the room. My solution is to get 1 or 2 SCOTT paper towels wet and ready, then I empty the canister very slowly and as far down into the trash can as possible. Next I put the wet SCOTT paper towels over the vaccuum waste. This keeps the dust under control!

5-8 VEGGIES A DAY

Struggling to find a way to increase the vegetable requirements for my family... I decided to pack almost all of them into a daily salad... In my crisper I keep Italian salad greens, red onion, green onion, grape tomatoes, red peppers, grapes and blue cheese crumbles...additonal veggies too...Everday about 30 minutes before dinner, I mix these in a large glass bowl. Ifinish off with prediced dried cranberries and walnuts.... I serve this plateful of lush salad just prior to dinner...with a baked sweet potato and steamed squash and zucchini... A small ammount of grilled chicken that has been marienated in Italian salad dressing, garlic and ginger..No one complains about bland veggies any longer...Add sweet & sour dressing.... Yum!!!
