Plumbing

If I get a cloged drain or if bad smells comes from bathroom or kitchen drains,I use a miture of 1 part baking soda to 3 parts vinegar. This tip really works. My husband is a plumber.

Quick clean up!!

While cleaning up dinner, instead of dirtying up tupperware or throw-away containers to store left-overs, just put your left-overs in a ziplock bag and put it in the fridge!! It not only saves time, and space, it saves a few dishes to wash!! Talk about a win, win situation. I have done this for years!!

Saving Money/Leftovers

If you have a baby, take your left over vegetables, potatoes, gravy or anything you had for dinner and put it your blender; pulse and then freeze in ice cube trays. A lot cheaper than baby food. One ice cube is enough for a baby that is just starting out on food. You can increase the amount as they get older and won't have to puree it as much.

Easy clean for those Baked on Caked on Pots & Pans

For difficult to clean pots and pans, place soapy water in the pan and put it back on the stove, bring water to a light boil and Tah Dah! Baked on food wipes clean! Easy & Simply and no scrubbing.

Dishwasher Clean or Dirty

Bread Keeper

When buying bread in bulk, freeze it until use. Slip a folded SCOTT® Towel into the bread bag before freezing. Leave the SCOTT® Towel in place while thawing and you will not have damp bread.
