hands off meatloaf

When making meatloaf (or meatballs, hamburgers...) instead of kneading with your hands, throw all the ingredients in a plastic freezer bag, let out as much air as possible, and knead. No need to get your hands all dirty and no meat contamination. After all the ingredients are mixed well, shape it and plop it in the pan. For meatballs, just cut off a corner of the plastic freezer bag and squeeze the desired amount on the pan and roll meat with a spoon.

Germ Free Rubber Gloves

When I buy a new pair of rubber gloves to do the dishes with, I always turn them inside out and wash them first. I dry them thoroughly then turn them right side out again. I always wash my hands first, before putting them on. That way no germs can be transfered back and forth. Can you imagine all those germs lurking in thoes dark gloves?

left over containers

I save the butter tubs and then have them to give to single neighbors and some friends that live alone and never have to worry about getting my containers back. That size is just great for small servings for one.
