Put away laundry to eat dinner

I always folld clean clothes on the dining room table. I seperate the clothes into piles according to who's clothes they are. This way, the kids have to put away their clothes before we can set the table and eat. It also keeps the table from becoming the place where everyone puts their papers or mail.

A Different Way of Measuring

I was in the middle of baking when I realized I didn't have a spoon to measure a teaspoon. I found that the small cups that come with children's liquid medicine works perfectly. Some of the cups measure 1 or 2 teaspoons. Now that's all I use. I saved money by not having to buy a teaspoon and I felt good that I was reusing a product. Reduce, reuse, recycle!

Mop it up with Scott paper towels

I love using the "spray mops", but I don't like paying so much for the disposable pads. So, the days that I just have a small spill to mop upp or I'm out of those pads for the mop, I take three sheets of Scott Paper towels, put them together and they fit perfectly in the holes where you would attach the mopping pads. It's perfect for the small spills and you will save lots of money!

QUICK LUNCH

WHEN I AM IN A HURRY, I JUST WRAP A HOT DOG OR POLISH SAUSAGE IN A PAPER TOWEL AND PUT IT IN MICROWAVE FOR ABOUT 45 SECONDS OR UNTIL IT SPLIT. EXCELLENT TASTE, NO GREASE, NO MESS AND VERY QUICK.

Easy Organizing - Storage Ideas

STORING TONGS

SINCE MOST TONGS DO NOT STAY CLOSED, EVEN WITH THE LITTLE TAB YOU PULL ON THE BOTTOM OF THEM, I STORE MINE IN AN EMPTY PAPER TOWEL ROLL. THEY NEVER ACCIDENTLEY COME OPEN AND TAKE UP LITTLLE ROOM IN DRAWERS OR UTENSIL STORAGE CONTAINERS.

Everyday Sense - Simple Fixes

lost socks

tired of loosing a sock in the washer or dryer. Saftey pin them together when you take them off, just before you put them in the hamper. No more lost socks.

Recycle paper Coffee Cups

Neat Grease Relief! Hot grease can be readily disposed of in any used paper hot beverage cup, wipe out any excess grease with a Scott paper towel, stuff in the cup as well, close it with the drink cap and toss in the garbage
