Ice Melters

Save money by buying large bags of ice-melt product. Store in a large garbage bag to keep the moisture out. Drill holes in the bottom of an empty kitty litter jug and fill with the ice-melt product for easy shake-on application.

Loose Screws

Thank You Notes

Sending invitations? Address the thank you notes when addressing the invitations. Stamp the envelopes and your guest of honor is ready to send thank you notes. This is nicer than asking guests to address their own "thank-you's," which Dear Abby says is tacky.

ATM Envelopes

How many times have you gone to your ATM only to find there are NO deposit envelopes. When you go the ATM next, there should be a box that holds extra envelopes. Grab a few and keep them in your glovebox. Then, when you go to make a deposit, you're all set to go.

Trade Show Time Saver

Take a sheet of address labels to trade shows, seminars, bridal events, etc. You can place labels on mailing lists and never worry about looking for a pen. If you have an inkless stamper from an office supply store, that works well too.
