When my son was a baby he refused to eat jar baby food. He would actually gag! I think it was the texture? So I had to make 'gorment' baby food. Great money and time saver... I would cook dinner and would not season until after I had removed 'his portion.' I would then puree the food in the blender. You can add baby cereal or 'baby rice', or even mashed potatoes, to anything as the baby gets older.... I would then fill ice trays 3/4 full and place them in the freezer overnight. You then pop out
To avoid stops and take care of small nuisances, I keep a roll of Scott towels, a box Kleenex tissues, a container of wet wipes, a local phone book, plasticware, a notepad and pen and scissors in both cars. It eliminates so many hassles when making long or short trips.
Every time you empty a waste basket in bedrooms and bath or the garbage bin in the kitchen, put 2-3 new ones at the bottom of the container. This way you don't have to go looking for another bag whenever you need one.
If you have fitted sheets with elastic all around, put a safety pin in one corner so it's easier to find the top of the sheet.
I take an empty tissue box and put Christmas shopping receipts in it. This keeps all my receipts in one place, and if the box falls, everything stays inside. If something has to be returned, I have the receipt.
