Coffee Filters Set to Go

Pre-fill your coffee filters and stack them in an empty coffee container. Be sure to mark the lid as "ready to go." A standard container will hold about 12 pre-filled filters.

Trash Can Bags

Before I put a liner in my trash cans, I put the whole liner roll in the bottom of the can. It's right there when you need it.

Quick Change Trash Bags

Line the trash can with several bags at once, looping one edge of each bag over the edge. Each time you empty it, you are always ready for next fill-up.

Early Morning Time Saver

I bought a couple of over-the-door hooks to help speed up getting ready in the mornings. I put my outfit, lingerie and jewelry on a hanger and place it on the hook that's over the bathroom door. I put the other hook on my front closet door, and there I place my purse, tote or return bags. Everything is grab and go!

Fresh Berry Tip

To quick-freeze your fresh berries, wash them gently and let them dry thoroughly. Place them on a cookie sheet flat (not layered) and freeze. After they freeze, pop them into a plastic freezer bag and use as needed. They won't lump together. You can use as few or as many as you need.

Shower Savings

When you shower, wash your hair first and apply your conditioner before you wash the rest of your body. The conditioner will do its work while you finish your shower. You will save both time and water using this routine.

Monthly Prescription Reminder

My son is on several prescriptions that are refilled monthly. I put the receipt from the pharmacy in my bill box. So when I pay the bills, I can call in his refills. This way I do not forget and let him run out.

Coupons Made Easy

Instead of cutting & filing coupons each Sunday, I save the flyers in a drawer. When I make my grocery list, I visit www.cutouthunger.com, which lists all Sunday coupons. Sort by product and see which flyer applies. It's what I need, when I need it!
