Grocery Lists

Always keep a pen and paper handy and make the grocery list as the days go along. Add items as they are running low and always keep one extra of each non-perishable item, so you never run out!

Dishwasher Soap Magic

I don't like scrubbing pots and pans, etc., so I use very hot water and add a bit of dishwasher detergent. Then I let it sit until the water is cold and what was once stuck, easily rinses out.

Tidy Cat Litter Pan

When I clean the cat's litter box and replace the liner and litter, I first line the pan with a double layer of SCOTT Towels and then the liner. This keeps the pan cleaner longer, and if the cat's nails make a hole in the liner, it still contains the litter, making it an easier clean up.

Preparing Bottles for Night Feedings

I've found that when trying to make a bottle in the middle of the night when you can't see clearly and may possibly be holding your hungry, squriming baby, it's easier to pre-measure the formula into those travel powder formula containers. I also have the water waiting in the bottles, so I only have to use one motion to pour the formula into the bottle instead of counting scoops and trying to make it in the bottle.

Painting Your Toenails

Paint your toenails AFTER you put your sandals on. That way you only have to paint the ones that people are going to see and you don't have to wait for the polish to dry before you're on the go!

Dry Your Hair Quicker

Blow-drying hair can be time consuming and damages hair, especially for those with long hair. After washing your hair, use SCOTT Towels to dab and squeeze excess water out of your hair. Place the ends of your hair between 2 sheets of SCOTT Towels and squeeze, then blot the rest of your head with an additional Towel. Of course, for short hair you can probably use just one Towel. Your hair drying time will be cut in at least half or you can let your hair dry naturally much quicker and with less damage than that caused by the heat of a blow-dryer.

No Mess Peanut Butter and Jelly

I recently made a peanut butter and jelly sandwich using a 3-ounce disposable bathroom cup, (plastic or paper will do) to combine the mixture. It is the perfect size for one sandwich and theres NO mess to clean up... just throw away the cup.

Time-saving Teeth Cleaning

I brush and floss my teeth in the shower while I have conditioner on my hair. I have discovered that I actually spend more time brushing them and I always remember to floss. The result is healthy hair and teeth.
