Breakfast without the Clean-up
I make breakfast in advance for quick reheating with no dishes to wash. English muffins with ham, egg and cheese are always a big hit, and can be served on a Scott paper towel to save on clean-up!

Recipe Holder
When you have a recipe printed on a full-size sheet of paper, insert the paper into the side glass holders of the dish drying tray. This holds the paper perfectly straight so the recipe can be read easily.

Mac & Cheese
Kraft Mac & Cheese - measure milk in 2-cup measuring cup; then add the powdered cheese and mix it all together. Put butter in pan while the noodles are draining (returning noodles on top of butter). Then mix in the milk/cheese mixture.

Easier-cutting Meat
When I need cubes of stew meat or strips of round steak for pepper steak or stir fry, I cut the meat when it's just partially defrosted. It's much easier to cube or cut in strips when it's partially frozen, so it saves me time!

Cracker Crumbs
For a neat way to make cracker or cookie crumbs, place the crackers into a zip-top bag and close tightly. Using a rolling pin, carefully crush the crackers to be used for crumbs in breading and coating,

Porcelain Defroster
To defrost meat super fast, place it in a plastic bag and set it on your porcelain sink. The meat needs to be touching the porcelain. It will thaw out in no time!

When cooking outside
When cooking outside with your good pans, cover the outside of the pan in dish soap and let dry. The smoke and grime will stick to it. Then when you go to wash it, the soap will let all the grime rinse right off.

Grind meat before cooking
Rather than putting the entire loaf of ground meat directly into the skillet, break it apart into chunks and drop it into the pan. This will make it faster to cook and easier to keep "ground" instead of a loaf.
