SCOTT to the Rescue!

To get something out of a heat register or under the fridge, add an empty SCOTT paper towel roll or empty gift wrap roll to your vacuum hose. It can be bent or flattened to get into the narrowest openings.

Handy Clothes Hangers

I have to admit that I got this idea from Candi in Odessa's tip. Now every tme I take something off a hanger in my closet, I move the hanger to one side of the bar. When I have to add clean clothes to the closet, all the hangers are easy to find.

Good Time to Clean Your Purse

Whenever I'm waiting to be seen at the doctor's office, after I've been taken back to the examining room and I'm waiting alone, I thoroughly clean & organize my purse. I'd never find the time to do it at home and it beats starin' at the walls!

Hanger Helper

I got tired of looking for hangers, so now when my kids (and hubby) get clothes out of the closet, they put the empty hanger in their laundry basket. This way, when we collect laundry, the hangers are there waiting. A quick rinse and you are ready to go!

My grandmother said if you don't have time to clean every day, just make sure the floors are clean, and that makes the rest of the house look clean.

Clean White Sinks

To keep white sinks white, fill the sink with hot water, add dishwasher detergent, and let it soak overnite. White, shiny sinks with no scrubbing!

Wash with Your Gloves On!

Instead of taking your gloves off, go right to the kitchen sink and lather up with dish detergent. Hang them on the dish rack to dry, and they'll be fresh and clean for the next use.

Cleaning messy cast iron pans

Cast iron is easiest to clean when it is still hot from cooking but COLD water is the trick to getting even the stickiest mess out.
