Remove Gum from a Dryer

Oh, dear! Gum left in a pocket in the laundry? Spray the mess with laundry spot cleaner and set the dryer on heat for 10 minutes. Then use an old sock or washcloth to remove the semi soft gum. It works perfectly!

No-iron Bedding

After washing, drying and folding bed sheets and pillow cases, store them between your mattress and box spring. When you're ready to change the sheets, they look freshly ironed.

Hairy Throw Rugs

An easy way to get rid of dog/cat hair on throw rugs is to toss them into your dryer on "air" for about 20-30 minutes. Then all you have to clean out is your lint trap, and your throw rugs are like new again!

Easy Wipes

Disinfectant wipes are good for a lot of things, like cleaning the bathroom (especially around the toilet on the floor), baseboards and walls, or if you have sticky spills. You can also use them to wipe down your kitchen and kill all the germs. I also use them to clean the inside of my car when things are sticky. If you have babies, baby wipes work just as well for things like that and they are not as harsh for baby toys and things that babies might put in their mouths.

Another Use for Battery-powered Toothbrushes

To clean faucets, tile or even collectables, use an old battery-operated toothbrush that you no longer use to brush your teeth. Apply your favorite cleaner (or baking soda is also good) and turn on the toothbrush and scrub away to remove grime and dirt. This method works GREAT!
