Cleaning a Microwave Is a Snap

Fill a coffee mug 3/4 full with water. Place it in the microwave and heat it until it boils. Carefully remove the mug after 2 minutes and wipe out the microwave with a SCOTT Towel. No scrubbing and super easy!

Bath Time

When I fold my laundry, I fold my towels with two folds (widthwise), then place a washcloth inside and roll the washcloth up in the towel. This way, when my family goes to the shower, they have both with them instead of yelling 15 minutes later, "Can you get me a towel?" or "I forgot my washcloth."

How to Dry Clothes Fast

Have you ever realized that you forgot to put your clothes in the dryer and you need dry clothes now? No problem. Put the wet clothes that you need right away in the dryer with a couple of dry towels and run on high for about 10 minutes. The towels soak up a lot of the wetness and the dryer dries the items in a jiffy!!

Drying Clothes

If you shake your clothes when you take them out of the washer before putting them in the dryer, it will take less time to dry them and they'll be far less wrinkled!

Two Birds, One Towel

Since I have a power toothbrush that has a two-minute brushing reminder, I use those two minutes to brush my teeth AND clean off my bathroom counter at the same time. I put away hairpsray, makeup, brushes etc. and have time to wipe it down as well. I also get more use out of the towel by wiping down the toilet quickly and voila, I have "cleaned" two birds with one towel!

Making Beds

If you have fitted sheets with elastic all around, put a safety pin in one corner so it's easier to find the top of the sheet.

Dry Cleaning Time Saver

Keep a small laundry basket on the floor of your closet for dry cleaning. Put any buttons that need to be sewn on in a sandwich bag and pin it to the garment. The dry cleaner will sew them on for you.

Remove Gum from a Dryer

Oh, dear! Gum left in a pocket in the laundry? Spray the mess with laundry spot cleaner and set the dryer on heat for 10 minutes. Then use an old sock or washcloth to remove the semi soft gum. It works perfectly!
