Crisp Salad Greens

Prepare salad greens and store them in an airtight plastic container or bag. Add a few SCOTT Towels, dampened with cold water and with the excess water removed. With the SCOTT Towels covering your greens, they will stay crisp for several days.

Keeping Veggies from Spoiling

I got tired of my veggies spoiling. Now when I buy onions, carrots, celery and other fresh vegetables, without washing them first, I stick a couple of SCOTT towels in the bag they came in. Store them in your refrigerator, and they'll last a long time.

Microwave a Paper Towel

I just keep a paper towel — SCOTT, of course — in the microwave at all times. When something occasionally boils over, it's right there to minimize the clean up. It may be used many times before I need to replace it.

Cleaner Pet Bowls

Take a SCOTT paper towel and put a few drops of vegetable oil on it. Smear your cat or dog's clean bowl with the oil before feeding. The oil is fine for the animal to ingest and the food will come right off even after drying and getting crusty.

Safe Knives

To carry a sharp knife along on a picnics or car trip, just wrap the knife in a SCOTT Towel and stick it down in the paper towel tube. Off you go with the sharp blade protected -- and so are wandering hands.

Restaurant-thin Hamburgers

To get your homemade hamburgers restaurant-thin, spray no-stick spray on your countertop, take hamburger and place it on the counter and press it thin. Remove the burger with a turner that's also covered with no-stick spray. Be sure to wipe the counter with antibacterial spray and SCOTT Towels.

Clean Fireplace Glass

This is amazing, and it only takes a minute. Wet a SCOTT Towel and dip it into the ash that's left in your fireplace. Then clean the glass with the ashes that are on your wet towel. Instant clean glass!

Produce Saver

I wrap my produce in dry SCOTT® Towels and put it in plastic bags and store it in the refrigerator. Lettuce and other salad greens will keep 2-3 times longer this way.
