Little Dog Bath Time

We own two adorable small dogs, Pip (a Chihuahua) and Dash (a curious Chihuahua/Beagle mix). When it is bath time, to prevent dog hair from going down the drain, I line my sink with Scott Shop Towels on a Roll. I let a little paper towel drape over the sides of the sink too, which affords a quick and easy clean up. By lining the sink with STRONG Scott Shop Towels on a Roll, I save myself the possibility of ending up with clogged drains caused by the hair of my SUPER SHEDDERS, because I catch it all in the towels. Then I simply throw them away or put 'em in my compost pile!

Smelly Spots

For those pesky spots on your rugs where you can't remove the odor, put 1 part vinegar and 1 part water in a squirt bottle, spray the area, then pour table salt directly on it. Let it all sit until dry, then vacuum it up. It works every time!!!

Hair Pick-Up

If you have upholstered chairs with lots of pet hair on them, just moisten a SCOTT Towel, wring it out, and use it to brush off the hair. The hair comes off so easily!

Pet Food Cleanup

I use SCOTT Towels to pick up spilled dry cat food and water. I use an elevated feeder, and sometimes my cat and I get sloppy.

Take the Skunk Out

If your dog happens to get sprayed by our lovely stinky friend known as the skunk, a tomato juice bath is NOT the way to go. It will only muddle the smell. However, mixing hydrogen peroxide and baking soda together and wiping it on your pet's fur or giving him a short bath in it will make the smell go away!! Of course, be careful of his eyes and mouth.

Pet Owners

I keep a roll of SCOTT Towels in every room, so if the pooches have an accident, I don't have to run to the kitchen to get towels.

Pet Odors and Stains

Fill any size spray bottle with white vinegar, then use on pet urine stains on furniture, carpet, clothes, bedding, etc. to remove smells and stains. The odor of vinegar also acts as a deterrent against repeat "accidents" in the same place. Animals can't stand the smell of it!

No-flea Pets

Add 1/2 teaspoon of distilled white vinegar to your pet's drinking water. It will help kill fleas!
