Lunchbox Odor Eater

To remove odors from lunchboxes, plastic containers, car trunks, and more, soak a slice of white bread in white vinegar. Place the bread on a saucer and leave overnight. The odor will be gone by morning.

Clean Crisper!

To keep your refrigerator's vegetable and fruit drawers clean, place a couple of Scott paper towels on the bottom. When they get a little messy, toss them and replace them with fresh Scott towels.

Removing urine odor

If you have children's bedding or clothing that wreaks of urine and you can't get the smell out, add a cup of vinegar to your laundry detergent and into the washing machine with the soiled material. I did this as a last resort and worked better than anything!

Freshen towels

To really freshen towels and sheets, add half a cap full of Dettol soap to your regular laundry detergent. Don't go overboard or your towels will smell like pine oil!

Remove the smell in laundry

To remove the smell from bath towels and other clothes add a cup or more of white vinager to the rinse cycle. This will help remove the moldy smells and freshen up towels and help make them softer to the touch. This also is a great clothes softner

Keep it dry

Place a folded Scott towel under the "drip-tray" of your fridge’s water/ice dispenser to catch spills, etc. Water is absorbed into the towel and there is no mess. Replace weekly with a fresh Scott towel.

Fresh-smelling Vacuum Bags

After a few times using your vacuum, the bag starts to smell a bit. Buy some scented carpet beads or powder, pour into clean vacuum bag and everytime you vacuum, it releases a fresh clean smell! I use cinnamon scent -- it smells GREAT!!
