Farmer Helper

In the summer we are in the field 50% of the time. I am always taking food to the field. I always wrap the sandwich or food item in a Scott Paper towel and then aluminum foil (hot sand) or plastic wrap(cold sand). Then, my husband or the workers can eat ,even when their hands are dirty or greasy, and then they use the paper towel to clean up after their meal. Works every time>>>

When buying bread in bulk, freeze it until use. Slip a folded SCOTT® Towel into the bread bag before freezing. Leave the SCOTT® Towel in place while thawing and you will not have damp bread.

Winning the Battle with Plastic Wrap

When using plastic wrap, pull out the amount needed over the item to be covered, press the end of the wrap around a portion of the item being covered and then tear off. Less plastic wrap is wasted and less frustration brews when using the wrap.

Clean up Split Wax

To clean up split candle wax lay a SCOTT® Towel and then a cheesecloth or dry kitchen towel on top of the spill. Next, take a heated iron and gently iron over the towels until the wax is absorbed by the SCOTT® Towel. Make sure to use a low iron setting to prevent surfaces from getting scorched. Check frequently as you iron to see if you need to replace the SCOTT® Towel. Once the wax is all absorbed, simply dispose of the towel.

Tearless Onion Slicing

Onion slicing is a breeze and tearless if you just pop a piece of chewing gum into your mouth while slicing. You will be tearless and have minty fresh breath.

Straws for Kids

Keep a small pair of scissors in your bag/purse to cut straws for your younger children. Just put the straw in the drink, cut it to an appropriate length, then flip the straw over. This prevents kids from tilting the drink too far and spilling it all over themselves.
