Exciting Favors for Children

Take Scott Towel rolls, paint them gold, and fill them with jingle bells, candy and small toys, leaving enough "rattle room." Wrap them in clear wrap with pretty ties on each end. Children of all ages (even adult kids) love these rattle-filled goodies!

Old greeting cards

To ease up on the clutter of saving old greting cards, I usually cut the pictures out and use them for scrapbooking or other craft projects. It saves on buying stickers and crafting papers.

Video Game Rentals

My son likes to play video games with his friends at their houses because we don't own one. He can rent a game from the video store for 5 days, making sure he knows which games the other kid already has, so it is new fun for both of them.

Towel Prints

MINE!!!!!

If you purchase a new bike for your child, place their picture inside the handle bar before placing the grips on. if the bike is stolen and later recovered, remove the grip and there is your proof who owns the bike.

Bundle up for Halloween

Avoid tears about having to wear a coat over trick-or-treat costumes. Make Halloween costumes 2 or 3 sizes too big so that you can dress kids in layers UNDERNEATH the costume. They'll have fun and stay warm!

Sweet Rolls

Save empty toilet tissue rolls to decorate for special occasions or holidays. I put candy in them and tie a ribbon on each end for fun Halloween treats. Kids love them!
