I buy a few of those old fashioned fly strips in mid-August and hang them high over my trash cans that are sitting in my attached garage near my kitchen door. It keeps down the green flies in the house!
In the summer when the black flies and mosquitoes are at their worst, I tie a dryer sheet through my dog's collar to help repel the bugs. We do a lot of camping and other outdoor stuff, and it seems to help.
When we were little, Sunday afternoon was for visiting! Now with family & friends sometimes out of state, I make Sunday a day for reaching out and touching someone through calls or emails. To save time, I make a newsletter and can send it to numerous family members at the same time! I always end with "I love you."
I am saving all of the Scott Tips and putting them in a folder for my 14 year old daughter. I am keeping the names and what city and state all the tips come from. I plan on putting these into a scrap book style book and giving them to my daughter when she either goes off to college, lives on her own, or gets married,which ever comes first.
