Packing Shoes for a Trip

I use clean bread bags to put my shoes in. I use one bag per shoe, then I place the bagged shoes around the sides of the suitcase. My clothes are kept clean and the shoes makes the suitcase stronger.

No Worries, Butterfingers!

Tear off sheets of SCOTT Towels, stack and pack them in your suitcase inside a gallon-size plastic bag for those hotel dine-in meals and incidental spills. The plastic bag can be reused for your next trip. So you don't forget your SCOTT Towels for your next trip, replace them when you unpack and keep the filled bag in the pocket of your suitcase.

Picnic Basket in the Trunk

Recently i bought a picnic basket and placed notepads, envelopes, stamps, tape, a first-aid kit, bottleed water, a granola bar, a disposable camera and a magazine in it. i keep this in my trunk. Now I am always prepared and can take care of bill paying, writing a letter, making a grocery list or reading an article when i have to wait for an appointment or a store to open.

Trunk Organizer

Having bought a new small car, I was frustrated that the trunk cargo net only held about four bags of groceries. Everything that was placed behind the net rolled around in the trunk on the way home from the grocery store. I bought 4 back-to-school plastic crates to hold my groceries. No more items getting lost! I added a cheap foam cooler for cold items too. No more melted butter and ice cream!

Vacation Watering for Plants

When you're going on vacation, fill the bottom of your bathtub with a small amount of water. Let your household plants sit in the water, then take off on vacation and don't worry about your plants drying out. It really works!!

Q-tips Tip

The idea about the candy tubes was good, but we save the band-aid tins for our q-tips. You can get more in them than the tubes. We put stickers on them so we know which is band-aids & which are q-tips.

Shoe Holders

After you empty a roll of SCOTT paper towels, instead of throwing away the cardboard roll, insert it in your boots. This will keep them straight and organized in your closet and you won't have those boots folding over.

Traveling Toothbrush

When traveling, I hate having to pack a wet toothbrush, since you leave right after brushing your teeth. Use your hairdryer to quickly blowdry your toothbrush. It takes a few seconds, and you have a dry toothbrush to pack!
