When packing for a trip anywhere..tri- fold, then roll all pullover T-shirts, blouse even shorts. This saves so much space and basically wrinkle free too. Great for a suitcase or duffle..and more will fit in too.
I use glass only with plastic wrap seals for food prep/serving/storage. When a holiday or large BBQ is threatening to use all my fridge space I stack bowls by placing the appropriate sized plates between them!

At the end of the day when they get undressed, have each child put their socks in their own bag. When it's laundry time, zip up the bag, throw it in the washer and dryer, and you're done sorting socks!
I have certain recipes that I use quite often, so to keep them handy (and clean) I put them in the type of photo albums that have plastic covers. That way I can keep it in a kitchen drawer, pull it out, prop it up and be ready in a minute.
