Our elders, grandparents and seniors can always use postage stamps and envelopes with writing paper or note cards, at the holidays or anytime of the year.

There is a little known SCOTT Towel product that you can find in the large discount stores; usually in the automotive department. Ladies (any guys), please look for SCOTT Shop Towels on a Roll. They are durable, GREAT for cleaning house, cleaning appliances (underneath and inside), sweeping and mopping floors, and polishing and waxing furniture. I have a folding cooler I purchased several years ago. I leave this in the trunk of my car, so when I go on my shopping trips, I can store the frozen food and meats in there together. They stay frozen/cool and I can go to the next store and know they will be fine. If I am planning a big shopping trip with numerous stops, I put my big cooler in the trunk. It saves gas and time being able to do all of those errands at the same time without having to run home.
It's tempting to buy larger quantities when prices are great, but do you have a way to safely store the extras? As a single senior citizen, I no longer have a need for large purchases. I found that much was going to waste, so now I shop more carefully, and only buy what I will use within a month.
