Wrinkle Remover & Clothing Refresher

Instead of buying those pricey wrinkle removers, fill a spray bottle 1/3 full with your favorite fabric softener, and the rest with water. Use like the wrinkle removers. You can also refresh your clothes before wear with a quick spritz for a nice fresh scent if so inclined.

Saving Money/Leftovers

If you have a baby, take your left over vegetables, potatoes, gravy or anything you had for dinner and put it your blender; pulse and then freeze in ice cube trays. A lot cheaper than baby food. One ice cube is enough for a baby that is just starting out on food. You can increase the amount as they get older and won't have to puree it as much.

Saving Money on Vacations

My husband & I travel to beach for weekends several times a year; to cut cost, I have a cooler in the truck, which has knives, spoons, coffee condiments, few dishes & my old frying pan, Since sometimes we get a room without fridge I have cooler which I fill w/ice and put in things like cold cuts, hamburger meat & milk. We go to the store get items and fix meals for breakfast & lunch then splurge for supper. That way we can order the lobster w/out guilt.

Household Uses for Scott Shop Towels

I make the best use out of the Scott® Shop Towels. For starters, they are great for draining the grease when frying foods such as bacon, hamburgers, French fries, etc.. Also they are great for cleaning windows, never leaving a streak. They are great for polishing silver, dusting and other household chores. These towels never fall apart. The strength is so great that you can re-use them over and over again. No waste. Never found a product any better than the Scott® Shop Towels.

Cat Tip

I have several cats. I mix regular cat litter with scoop cat litter. It scoops up good and saves litter so I save money.

Its Worth It To Buy The Best

You may or may not pay a dollar more on Scott toilet paper, but I want a superior product that does not effect or clog my septic system. This is the thickest toilet paper around and it does the job. The rolls are big, they last longer and still they are so gentle. They are great with those little make up blunders, and they don't get soggy. Scott is the best.

Vinegar for the Floors

Put about 1/2 cup of white vinegar in your mop bucket with hot water and use in place of other floor cleaners. Vinegar deodorizes the whole house and also disinfects! No more expensive cleaners for my tile floors. Good to use on any surface that water can be used on, and it's safe!

Use Less Toilet Tissue

Using single-ply toilet tissue paper will save tissue, especially if you have girls, as we tend to need more. People usually judge their need by length, and single-ply gives you more.
